"Spent the day up in beautiful Castlerock beach and worked up a big appetite for fish & chips, I stopped a local gentleman who was wheeling a golf bag so I thought I'd ask him for a recommendation for the best fish & chips in the town as I presumed he was local..He pointed us in the direction of Crusoe's Catch and said they do a great fish & chips..We arrived and could tell the place was busy with people standing outside waiting on their order's..Seen that they had Haddock so ordered a Haddock supper, they also do Cod which a lot of people seemed to be ordering, we waited about 15 minutes for our order which wasn't bad as it was quite busy..The fish was cooked to perfection the batter was light and crispy and the fish was a decent size portion, the chips were one of the best I've ever had crispy and lovely and fluffy inside...I was also pleasantly surprised to find a wedged of lemon, and a tub of Tartar sauce and a tub of mushy peas to complement the fish & chips, a very nice touch Indeed..Can't wait until we go back to Castlerock for more fish & chips from Crusoe's Catch..."

"Visited Castlerock on one of the best days of the year and wanted some fish and chips to finish off a wonderful day. Gave Crusoes Catch a go and ordered 2 Haddock Specials. They came with Chips, tarter sauce, mushy peas and a wonderfully battered piece of haddock. The batter was truly delicious and I was blown away by the quality of the fish. As good as I have ever experienced. Staff really helpful and friendly. Hats off to you!!"

"Had heard mixed reviews from friends about this place, most negative ones were from last year. So, gave it a go, got large Cod fish supper, and despite having to wait 25 minutes (they were really busy) was not disappointed. Fish was tender, batter light and delicious, and the chips were totally yummy. Definitely no hesitation in recommending this eatery whatsoever !"

"Really great fish and chips both cod and haddock, honestly the best I’ve had in a while. Not greasy or overly oily and nice crispy batter that wasn’t too thick or soggy. Good chips and mushy peas. Large enough portions, but quality over quantity unlike some places. Would go again."

"Been too long since I visited Crusoe’s Catch. Wonderful treat on way home from work. Super fresh haddock and chips. Great to get a chippy that’s not greasy. Lovely light and crispy batter on the fish and a surprise to find mushy peas, tartare sauce and a lemon wedge in the box. Top service, large portion and £8.50. What’s not to love. I should have taken my dear wife some of the veggie options home though. Will just have to call again soon!! Get visiting folks (and eat it on the prom too with that view!!)"

"Absolutely the BEST gluten free fish and chips I've ever had! The batter was light and crispy, the haddock was absolutely delicious and the chips were lovely too (all non greasy). Love that you get tartar sauce, mushy peas and a wedge of lemon included. Shame we don't live near by as this would be a regular jaunt for me otherwise!! Keep up the good work, really enjoyed my Haddock fish supper"

"We went here today after a lovely walk , first time to visit crusoes catch , all I can say is the food was outstanding, best cod and chips ever , service fantastic lovely place , we sat outside in their seating area even had heater above us nice touch , I’ll be back for sure with the family , I would highly recommend Crusoes Catch , great portions soooooooo tasty kids loved it"
